Super Action Gun: On the Set (Take 2)

Good news folks! We just finished up another great day of shooting on our new movie Super Action Gun. We picked up shooting again on Thursday the 18th. We grabbed our gear and headed up towards the hills of Provo.

This is a shot of a deal gone bad.

Here's a picture of Antonio being sweet with a really nice steadycam we got to play with.

But unfortunately, everything we shot that day went to crap. It got dark way too fast so we ended up just scrapping everything we filmed that day.

Today, September 20th, we decided to head back to the studio where we shot the first Go! Action Gun and not only reshoot everything we shot on the 18th but also film the rest of the whole movie.

Here is the first shot. I was dressed up as a character called, "El Mucho" with Magnus and Steve as my henchmen.

Oh yes, we got Andrew back for part 2 as well!

Here's a shot of Magnus shooting like a mad man with Steve and I in the background taking cover.

Me as El Mucho.

Steve being sweet.

Clayton and Andrew are finally teamed up once again!

Here's another shot of Antonio filming stuff and being awesome.

Very cool action shot of Clayton and Andrew doing their scene.

Oh yes, we even busted out the green screen! I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Steven Hayes made a transparency and using a projector put Super Action Gun up on the wall. It wasn't for the film but it was very cool looking. I couldn't help but strike a pose.

Clay and I in a fight to the death!

Very cool picture of Steve hanging out on the set.

This was the last shot I was a part of.

All in all the shoot went VERY well. We flew through each scene at record pace. I think it helped that pretty much all of us our married now so we were being a lot more serious on set and made sure things were getting done in somewhat of a timely fashion. Sure, we still had tons of fun and goofed off a lot like usual but we really cranked this baby out.

I can't wait to see the final product! We had a very great experience being able to all come together again and finally film something after a 3 year break. We are going to work hard to have this movie all cut and posted on the web as soon as possible for you all to see, so stay tuned!

Super Action Gun: On The Set

We're making movies again!! Antonio came up with a script, its a sequel of Go Action Gun and we started filming it last night. Its going to be so amazing!

We are very lucky to have access to so many fun new toys this time around. While on the set, I took some pictures but they were taken with my iPhone so they are not the best quality in the world. It was a very low lit shot we were filming so a lot of the images on my phone came out pretty over exposed but don't worry, on film it look looks beautiful.

This is the opening shot of the movie, Clay is answering a phone call. Notice the super fancy camera and track dolly.

For the next shot we setup inside the studio. We setup the track dolly in like a half circle so we can shoot the conversation the characters were having.

I love this picture, yay!

Same shot just from a different angle. Check out the sweet boom mic.

Fancy equipment and cool set = lots of fun.

Another sweet picture.

Antonio doing his scenes.

This is the cool but very expensive monitor we got to play around with on the shoot.

This is a 15 foot crane we used for one of the shots. It was very unnecessary but since we had access to it, why not use it?

In this shot its hard to see but the camera is on the crane and its panning upwards above Claytons head in this shot.

All in all it was a very successful and fun shoot. I can't wait until day two of shooting! This movie is going to rock!

Also, we filmed some promos for the website. There are still a couple that I'm working on so they won't be posted just yet but here are the ones that are completed.

Here we goooooooooo!

The long wait is over my friends, welcome to the new Give Me Back My Son website! Thanks go out to Andrew for the new sweet design. A lot of hard work and time has gone into reprogramming this site, re-encoding the videos and re-uploading them for all of you to enjoy. I hope you'll be pleased with the results as I am.

So, whats in store for Give Me Back My Son?

Just last weekend we filmed some little promos that should be uploaded very shortly and we've also got plans to start filming a new movie.

Here's a little sneak peak into the plot from a conversation I had with Antonio:

"I had a vision William... I see you in a black suit, pencil mustache, red bow tie, holding a kitten, and a big effin' machine gun. I think I'll call you El Mucho.

Clay's character is called Machine Gun Sally, Andrews name is Skidmark, and Steven is Tapioca Jones. I would like to shoot part of it in an open grass area, like the area behind your guy's old neighborhood. I need guns, lots of guns, and maybe a pie. Super Action Gun Lives!!!"

Be sure to tell your friends we're back online! We've got lots of plans for 2008! Good things are coming!!
